Senior Financial Analyst Corporate Planning

As a Sr Financial Analyst on the Corporate Planning team, you will report to the Sr Manager Corporate Planning.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

\n

What your day-to-day will be like:

\n\nReport forecast financials and incorporate results in monthly business reviews, quarterly business reviews, quarterly board of directors materials, and budget materials\nBuild financial models using Excel, Hyperion, and large datasets to identify financial risk and opportunity areas, and provide accurate financial forecasts\nGuide standardization, simplification, and automation of financial reporting and supporting processes\n\n

How you will collaborate with others:

\n\nCraft and develop model efficiency improvements and work with business partners across the Company to improve overall forecast accuracy\nProvide capital expenditure and month-end close reviews, and business case analyses to support major financial decisions\nWhat projects you will take ownership of: \nAssist with quarterly earnings processes, including preparing external guidance for Net Income/EPS, capital returns, and RevPAR\nProvide data management support for development of the annual operating budget and monthly forecasting processes\n\n

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

\n

You have these minimum qualifications:

\n\nThree (3) years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) that includes building operating budgets and forecasts, banking/investment management, management consulting, or equivalent experience in finance or accounting\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience building financial models\nAccomplished in financial reporting, financial modeling, and cost analysis\n\n

It would be useful if you have:

\n\nBA/BS Bachelor’s Degree; Graduate degree useful (MBA or Masters in a related field)\nExperience developing financial models within cloud-based business intelligence platforms (e.g. Anaplan, Power BI, Oracle)\nCFA or CPA license\n\n
