Senior Financial Analyst- End to End Store Finance (Hybrid- Seattle, WA)
Job Description Nordstrom is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst that is customer focused, data-driven, organized, and with a high level of curiosity to join our Stores Finance team. This person will provide exceptional data driven analytics, reporting, and cross-functional partnership to our OpEx and CapEx business partners, as well as support continuous planning and forecasting, P&L analysis & reporting, and ad hoc requests. **This role is Hybrid - 3 days per week in our downtown Seattle office is required. We are not offering relocation for this role. A day in the life… + Analyze facilities, maintenance, and utilities spend through P&L reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to ensure transparency and accountability + Manage key processes and provide business insights and storylines related to the reporting of planning cycles and monthly close results for both OpEx and CapEx actuals + Develop annual budgets, and perform monthly reporting that provides insight into past performance (month-end) and future trends (forecast) + Use a variety of data sources to enhance and build detailed financial models to track and analyze operations KPIs, uncover trends, and drive actionable outcomes + Partner across the broader Finance and Stores teams to anticipate future business challenges and opportunities, and effectively communicate with non-financial leaders + Identify areas for improvement, efficiencies, and automation around current processes, reporting, and financial systems. Simplify. + Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as assigned, synthesize, and clearly communicate findings to support leadership-level decisions You own this if you have… + 5+ years of related experience + BA/BS Degree in Finance or Accounting + Proven experience in corporate financial metrics and analytical methods, scenario modeling, and reporting financial performance, with a strong sense of curiosity and a proactive nature + Excellent MS Excel abilities, including the ability to use formulas, functions, and pivot tables, and experience in building driver-based models that are flexible, scalable, and transferable + Experience with Anaplan, Hyperion-Essbase, Tableau, and Microstrategy a plus. + Attention to detail, data integrity, and accuracy a must + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines and independently develop processes and deliverables + Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills We’ve got you covered… Our employees are our most important asset and that’s reflected in our benefits. Pay Range Details The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. Washington: $69,500 - $132,000 Annually This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
