A Bit About The RoleThe Senior Financial Analyst is a critical position within the Global Services organization. The primary focus of this position will be financial and operational reporting to drive performance management within the professional services and CARE (maintenance and support) functions This position will serve as the primary resource to the team providing financial analysis and support to business partners. Some key goals will be to develop/create benchmarks, KPI’s, financial models that enable scenario analysis, real-time dashboard reporting, etc.
Subject matter expert and administrator of Hyperion Planning applicationResponsible for the financial management of the company’s cost center expenses, including development of the annual operating plan, recurring forecasts, and capital expendituresManage the compilation of monthly / quarterly management reporting presentationsAssist in the validation of data among financial reporting applications (Hyperion Planning, Hyperion FCCS, Oracle Fusion ERP, Data Warehouse)Participate in month-end close process, including review of expenses to ensure accuracy and completenessProvide timely, relevant, and accurate analysis & reporting of results against historical, budgeted, or forecasted data to facilitate prudent business decisionsDeliver information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings, analyses, and recommendationsParticipate in monthly financial management reporting processes, which include cost center expense, income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow summariesUse of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts to provide practical counsel to business partnersResearch and resolve inquiries for assigned functional areasAssist in analyzing and interpreting financial and technical support data to identify revenue enhancement or cost savings opportunitiesProvide guidance to Accounting team, as necessaryIdentify and develop business process improvements and technical solutionsDevelop and track key performance metrics aligned with the company’s strategic objectivesPerform strategic and scenario (what-if) financial modelingProvide ad-hoc reporting and support to management, business partners, and fellow FP&A team members About You Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field3-5 years of “hands-on” Financial Planning and Analysis or Accounting experienceHighly advanced level of proficiency with MS Excel and other MS applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access)Experience with Hyperion Planning (SmartView), Visual Basic (macros), and Oracle Fusion (ERP), PowerBI, Salesforce, JIRA, etc.Expertise with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reportingProven experience with maintenance and manipulation of large data sets, including the use of queriesAbility to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendationsVery high level of organization, extreme attention to detail, and accuracy is requiredExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and work efficiently in a challenging, fast-paced environmentPossess solid time-management skills, able to work effectively under pressureMaturity, professionalism, and a high level of confidentiality and discretion are requiredSelf-starter with the desire to streamline processes and a passion to learn and grow
