Essential part of the Finance and Operations teams by serving in a critical workforce planning role, while managing a major portion of the stations’ expenses. Position resides in the Finance department and reports directly to the Senior Finance Director along with significant interaction with the VP of Finance and other station management.

Key prepare/lead for following functions:Budgeting and forecastingMonth End Close & variance analysesWeekly Ad Revenue Projections/PacingHeadcount AnalyticsFinancial/Balance Sheet reconciliationsWorkflow documentation and internal audit liaisonVendor managementCapital and fixed asset trackingPartner with the managers of the operating groups to review budget performance and assess impact of operational changesResponsible for preparing and evaluating key operational and financial metricsDevelop, design and evaluate models for business process improvements to be shared with senior and operational managementAssist in development of presentations to executive managementManage ad hoc projects and report requestsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience3+ years of work experience in finance, public accounting or operationsAptitude for complex problem solving and an ability to identify and implement process improvement and change managementSuperior organizational skillsAnalytical mindset with an ability to drive results based on analysisAbility to write, speak and present effectivelyAbility to read, interpret and apply contractual elements to businessExcellent excel skills with the ability to create pivot tables and advanced formulas Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to influence and lead changeWorking knowledge of finance (Accounts Payable, General ledger, etc.) and scheduling systemsDesired Characteristics
