Providence is calling a Senior Financial Analyst who will:
Serve as a member of the service area team Sit on local ministry teams to provide analytical support regarding the team's financial performance Analyze, understand and report on key financial and business trends for the organization Collect, research and organize financial and operational data to create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analyses Apply advanced knowledge and skills Perform difficult and complex tasks Provides guidance, assistance and training to more junior-level analysts Support larger and/or more complex service area teams Use critical thinking skills daily Have knowledge of accrual based accountingEssential Functions:
Using Milliman, EPIC claims and other data tools, perform statistical population health utilization, cost and quality analytics to develop total cost of care targets for at-risk populations Work with HCC team to conduct in-depth reviews of CMS RAF files such as MMRs to assess settlement results and trends, report findings to various internal teams and senior leadership; RAF forecast modelling Assist local leaders in interpreting and developing plans to improve institutional and medical group internal and external managed care costs (may include institute financial reporting and value-oriented architecture analysis) Support and inform clinical, network and efficiency improvement initiatives through complex analytics and financial modeling using SQL language & analytical tools Assist with data sharing and reconciliation among various data systems as well as developing methods for standardizing data collection, database design, validation reports and analysis of statistical population health utilization, cost and quality analytics to develop total cost of care targets for at risk populations Curate, manage, and mine information from large data sources Analyze important trends and variances among actual, and forecast data and provide detailed explanations related to underlying causes Prepare financial reports and analysis; automate and proactively make improvementsProvidence welcome 100% remote work for applicants who reside in the following State:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance 5+ years of analytical and business experiencePreferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or another related field of study 2+ years of healthcare related experience Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Management Accountant (CMA) MS Excel Experience Experience with writing queries in SQL or another programming languageSalary Range by Location:
