Job Description Nordstrom is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Supply Chain Finance team. The ideal candidate is highly curious, customer-focused, and demonstrates a strong sense of ownership. With a passion for data and reporting, this individual will play a key role in consolidating Operations results to support month-end close, monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and ad hoc requests. Additionally, they will provide valuable insights into key business drivers and support strategic investments that drive our business forward. **This role is Hybrid - Seattle, WA and does require you to be in office 3 days per week. We do not offer relocation for this role. A day in the life… + Lead and manage the processes for monthly close reporting and forecasting activities. + Develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts for fixed expenses, ensuring alignment with business goals. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, analyze, and optimize business performance. + Design and implement reporting tools and financial models that provide valuable insights into past performance and inform future trends. + Serve as a key finance partner, effectively communicating complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. + Analyze data to identify trends and drive actionable outcomes that improve business performance. + Take ownership of ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed. + Champion process improvements and work to simplify reporting methods for greater efficiency. You own this if you have… + 3-5 years of related experience + BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance + Supply Chain experience is preferred + Proven experience in analysis, modeling, and reporting financial performance, with a strong sense of curiosity + Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and timelines + Excellent computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint, experience with Hyperion-Essbase and Anaplan a plus + Ability to independently develop processes and deliverables from general direction + Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills + Attention to detail, data integrity and accuracy We’ve got you covered… Our employees are our most important asset and that’s reflected in our benefits. Washington: $77,969 - $132,000 Annually This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
