As our Senior Financial Control Executive, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and posting of journals and reconciliations, which are part of the periodic financial close for the EMEA region of ASICS. The role also involves preparing, posting, and reviewing the standalone and consolidated financial reporting package on a monthly and quarterly basis and supporting the delivery of the group’s annual statutory financial statements prepared in the Netherlands.

How you’ll help us.           

Based at our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands, you will be reporting to the Manager Group Financial Control, and as part of the role, you’ll:

Prepare, post, and review financial journals and reconciliations for period-end closing. Manage fixed asset ledger, depreciation and amortisation, and lease liability reconciliations. Assist European Tax and Treasury teams with local reporting needs. Help compile annual statutory accounts on time. Participate in the external audit process, ensuring timely responses to audit requests. Contribute to the consolidation process for ASICS Europe and report to ASICS HQ. Ensure compliance with local financial legislation and regulatory requirements. Optimise internal controls and execute J-Sox internal controls accurately and timely.

 

More about you.       

Qualification in related fields. 2-4 years of experience in financial controlling. Certification, such as ACA or ACCA, is preferred. Knowledge of accounting functions, business processes and experience in a multinational financial role are essential. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and familiarity with financial software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively within a multinational organisation.
