Kforce has a client in Washington, DC that is seeking a Senior Financial/Data Analyst. Responsibilities: * Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded * The Senior Financial/Data Analyst will review the work of team * Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger * Prepares complex balance sheets, profit, and loss statements, and other financial reports * Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses * Engage with external auditors * Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal control * The Senior Financial/Data Analyst will prepare and analyze the firm's financial statements, providing explanation of significant variances from budget for operating expenses * Complete monthly account reconciliations for all asset and liability accounts. Research and reconcile all discrepancies in a timely manner.
