We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented a highly skilled Senior Financial Management Analyst to lead financial data analysis, process improvement, and contract management initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial oversight, enhancing efficiency, and advising senior leadership on financial strategy and regulatory compliance. 

 

Essential Functions:

- Lead the examination and continuous improvement of financial data flows, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with federal regulations. 

- Develop and implement strategies for sustained financial and contract management enhancements. 

- Establish and maintain oversight mechanisms, ensuring regular reporting cadences for financial performance and contract management. 

- Advise senior leadership by providing financial insights, forecasting trends, and making data-driven recommendations for operational improvements. 

- Ensure compliance with federal financial regulations and policies, leveraging expertise with Ariba, GFMS, and other financial management systems. 

- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and fostering financial best practices. 

 

Supervisory Responsibility:

 

Position would be strongly considered for the “Site Lead” of a handful of FTEs from the client to the employer.

 

 

Work Environment:

 

 This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 

Physical Demands:

 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

 

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word.  Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds.Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time.

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

 

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Requires 3 days a week in office; typically Tue, Thu, Fri.  Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need.

 

 

Experience: 

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, contract administration, or a related field. 

- Proven expertise with Ariba, GFMS (Global Financial Management System), and federal financial regulations governing financial operations. 

- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving financial process improvements. 

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial data and insights to senior leadership. 

- Experience working in or with government agencies is preferred.

 

Education:

 - Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
