Your Impact
We’re looking for a Senior Financial Manager to take ownership of key financial activities, including a timely month end close and reconciliation process, and various process improvement initiatives. You will report to the European Financial Controller as a valued member of the global accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join the business as it pushes into the next phase of growth. The position requires the ability and willingness to travel to the London office at least once per week to collaborate with key stakeholders and support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the month-end close for Europe and APAC, including the preparation of journal entries, maintaining general ledger accounts, and supporting schedules for key financial accountsIdentifying opportunities to streamline month-end close and reporting processes as part of a global initiative while reducing time to close Overseeing the processing of UK accounts payable to ensure timely payments to our suppliers Supporting the European Financial Controller with statutory and management reporting requirements Assist with Netsuite system optimization projects including reporting enhancements and contributing to a successful AP system implementation Assisting the European Financial Controller and VP Global Accounting with the development of global accounting policies, procedures, and processes Assisting with year-end activities, including financial audits, statutory accounts, and tax compliance processes
Required Skills & Abilities
Strong accounting knowledge with proven experience with UK GAAP Experience with Netsuite is required ACCA / CIMA / ACA strongly preferred Demonstrates strong discipline and leads by example, inspiring others to meet high standards and consistently hit deadlines Confidence to engage and liaise with stakeholders at different levels of seniority Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail Experience in a complex multi-currency environment and management of international subsidiaries Excellent communicator with strong verbal, written, and presentation skillsBenefits
