Senior Financial Planning Analyst

 What you will do: 

Build and own the financial planning and systems and reports. 

Provide insight to business managers on the data to gain further business insights. 

Assist in the monthly close and forecast process by aggregating data across multiple departments. 

Manage the annual budget process with other members of the department to drive the budget process.  

Develop the Information Technology and Selling, General, and Administrative expenses budget from the ground up. 

Collect, examine, and manage financial data to create reports for monthly Profit and Loss breakdown and financial forecasts. 

Develop reporting and maintain software systems for forecasting and budgeting. 

Provide insights into the monthly and quarterly business reviews. 

Monitor and evaluate the data for forecast accuracy, identify drivers for variances, and provide commentary for current and future periods. 

Conduct ad hoc evaluation of data for senior management. 

Build relationships with other departments to build engagement. 

 

We need you to have: 

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or Business; Master of Business Administration degree or be a Certified Public Accountant is a plus. 

4 or more years of experience in a related role. 

Demonstrated knowledge of financial forecasting, basic accounting principles, modeling, and operations.  

Experience with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management, OneStream, Table Manager One, Hyperion, or similar multidimensional forecast planning tools. 

Effective verbal and written communication skills. 

Intermediate proficiency level in business, technology, and finance. 

Fluency in Microsoft Excel; Tableau and JD Edwards’s experience is a plus.  

Ability to develop and cultivate relationships with business partners and work well with others in a team environment.
