Job Description

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $83,300 - $102,900 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.

 

The FP&A Senior Analyst is responsible for creating accounting, financial reporting, planning and analysis for the Home Comfort Solutions Segment. This includes assisting in updating forecasts, analyzing financial results, and communicating the financial story to FP&A Business Partners and Segment CFO. The position provides the opportunity to develop experience in the fundamentals of financial performance and reporting best practices.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

Review financial results, comparing and analyzing actuals versus plan, forecast, and prior year to analyze the cause of variances, identify trends, and monitor impacts to key performance indicatorsPartner with other Finance Business Partners with our Business Units to understand key business drivers, then based on financial results document findings, insights, and implications to the Home Comfort Solutions segmentPartner with Finance and Accounting business partners to provide inputs to monthly and quarterly financial cash forecasting and reportingSupport the development of financial models and other analytical tools to enhance the efficiency of business applications and processesProactively provide insight on process improvementsSupport Business Units with planning and analysis toolsSupport development of annual financial plan targets for the SegmentSupport financial forecast consolidation process for the SegmentAssist ad hoc financial research projects as neededCoach less-experienced financial analystsPosition is highly visible to senior level leadership and suited for continued growth in FP&A knowledge, management, and career progression.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Requires a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 5 years of related experienceProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.)Knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion) and/or analytics platforms preferredExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
