Senior Financial Systems Analyst (Microsoft Dynamics F&O)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Financial Systems Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team. As a Senior Financial Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and improving D365 F&O and other accounting systems, as well as leading projects to enhance financial systems and processes. You will report to the Senior Accounting Systems Manager and be the go-to point of contact for all financial systems-related issues. 

 

What You’ll Do

Lead incident and task support for ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP  Manage and prioritize the product backlog, including new feature requests, system improvements, and bug fixes, working with third-party consultant and Business Systems team to resolve technical issues. Document and maintain comprehensive knowledge of department processes and systems  Partner with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and enhancements in ERP systems and processes  Lead the development and coordination of testing of improvements and system updates  Provide end user functional training and support for ERP systems and processes  Responsible for analyzing and executing on ERP system configurations  Advise Business Applications teams on integrations between related systems Responsible for the accounting functions of the accounting reporting systems and their impact on the financial statements and operational reports  Ensure the integrity of the monthly system accounting data affecting financial reporting  Assist in mergers and acquisitions system integration processes  Identify and implement opportunities for automation and streamlining of financial processes  Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial systems and technologies  Lead system adoption initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in project management practices.  Continuously seek opportunities to improve system capabilities, usage, and alignment with organizational objectives. 

 

What We Expect from You

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field  At least 7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or information systems, with an emphasis on analytics and financial systems  Expertise in core financial and operational business processes such as General Ledger, Revenue Recognition, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales Tax and Financial Reporting  Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics F&O required  Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)  Customer-focused mindset and approach to problem solving  Excellent communication and change management skills to effectively present ideas, plans, and processes to stakeholders  Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, management, other departments, and external agencies  Ability to work independently and collaboratively  Highly organized with the ability to set priorities work on multiple projects and meet deadlines  Strong analytical background with experience in process analysis, risk and control identification, and problem-solving  Experience in leading teams and mentoring junior staff  Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $102,900- $139,200
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
