We are looking for a highly skilled Senior FinOps Analyst to lead our cloud cost optimization efforts, located in our Rehovot office.
This role involves analyzing cloud infrastructure, identifying opportunities for cost efficiency, and collaborating across teams to ensure financial accountability in cloud spending.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans and budgets for cloud infrastructure and services.
Forecast future cloud costs based on historical data and projected usage.
Produce and present detailed reports to aid in decision-making and track key financial metrics.
Monitor and Analyze cloud spending trends, identifying cost optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to address cloud cost challenges.
Identify potential risks related to cloud cost usage and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Build and maintain cost and pricing models to support ongoing financial optimization efforts
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in FinOps or cloud optimization roles, with expertise in managing cloud costs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating cloud usage.
Proven track record in cloud financial management and cost optimization.
Experience with cloud cost management & optimization tools such as Cloudhealth and Finout.
Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in fast-paced environments while meeting tight deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with vendors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture, resource utilization, and cost optimization best practices.
Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Certifications in AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms are a strong advantage.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with strong preference for AWS experience.
