Summary: Seeking a Senior FIPS 140 Security Engineer to provide technical engineering services for integrated security systems, translate security and business requirements into technical designs, and test security products.
Requirements:
BS degree and 4-8 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of FIPS 140 requirements
Knowledge of cryptographic encryption algorithms, key exchange algorithms, hashing/message authentication algorithms, PKI, random number generators
Experience with programming languages (C, C++, Python or Java) and development environments
Comprehension of security standard requirements
Knowledge of common security-related protocols (SSH, IPsec, TLS)
Experience building testing environments and performing testing with technical writing
CVP Certified Tester
Preferred Skills:
Experience with VHDL and Verilog languages
Debugging experience (GDB, WinDBG, Visual Studio)
Statistical analysis of entropy sources
Knowledge of OpenSSL and/or OpenPGP
Vulnerability analysis/penetration testing expertise
Related certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE)
Knowledge of Active Directory and Linux
Hands-on experience with tools like oscilloscope, function generator, multimeter, signal generator
Knowledge of X.509 certificates and protocols such as CDP and OCSP
Experience setting up networks with familiarity in subnets and routing
Responsibilities:
Provide technical engineering services for integrated security systems
Participate in strategic design processes to translate requirements into designs
Configure secure systems and physical controls
Test security products to detect weaknesses
Establish goals to meet objectives based on assignments
Recommend changes to policies affecting subordinate organizations
Provide guidance to achieve goals in accordance with policies
Pay: 70-76

Pay Details: $70.00 to $76.00 per hour
