As our Senior Software Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by: + Develop and enhance features for real-time embedded system. + Develop communications protocol drivers for use in our embedded system and third-party products. + Develop and enhance network communication mechanisms. + Port existing software to new embedded hardware and software platforms. + Design and implement software development and test tools. What we will love about your background: + Familiarity with the Microsoft Visual Studio and Eclipse development environments. + Ability to work on complex tasks with minimal technical guidance. + Excellent problem-solving, design, development, and debugging skills. + Good communication skills Your Experience and Education include: + Bachelor’s degree desired in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. + BSEE or BSCS + 3-15 years professional experience in C or C++ programming, preferably with Embedded Linux and microcontroller RTOS development. + Experience in distributed systems and network-based communication protocols.
