As our Senior Firmware Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

Embedded Software development (C++) with local and international teams where customers are governments, Fortune 500 companies as well as family businesses Taking proactive participation in driving quality products (Jira, Agile) Taking part in technical discussions to constantly improve both product and own skills

 

 

What we will love about your background: 

 

Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc. Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.

 

 

Your Experience and Education include:             

 

Minimum of 5 year of hands-on embedded development experience C++ programming proficiency Experience with Embedded Linux and real-time systems Familiarity with bug tracking tools Working knowledge of source code management (Git, Mercurial) Proven problem-solving skills Open-mindedness and readiness to introduce new technologies Working knowledge of USB, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, Yocto, FPGA, CycloneV is a plus
