We're the team behind smart thermostats that turn buildings into energy-saving havens! **Position Overview:** This role will own the development of firmware for brand-new products with electronics, Influence the future of our innovative products and ensure they meet high standards of cost, quality, and schedule targets by collaborating with a distributed team. **Educational Requirements:** + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field - Equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. **Position Requirements:** + Minimum of 6+ experience working within the Firmware space. + Ability to provide new product, product features, and major cost reduction ideas. + Knowledge in different Software Development Life Cycle methodologies and practices. + Up-to-date knowledge of product security. + Experience in leading product safety discussions and following up through to issue resolution. + Proven track record in submitting intellectual property (IP). + Fluent in English (verbal & written).
