A week in the life of a Senior Flight Controls Engineer includes:

Provide technical and programmatic support and oversight on Navy aircraft platforms including F-35, E-2, and F-18. Perform control law design and analysis Analyze redundancy management of safety critical control systems Support Built-In-Test (BIT) design Perform Flight Control System integration testing (including simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-aircraft) Analyze flight control systems including flight control computers, software, hydraulic and electromechanical actuators, and mechanical flight control linkages Support the flight control system software support activity
