About this opportunity:
Join the DPD Algorithms Team in Kista within Ericsson's TPM and PEU Radio unit, focused on developing advanced radio ASIC algorithms. This team plays a key role in the entire product development cycle, from pre-development and design to validation and verification of digital pre-distortion (DPD) algorithms in ASIC, Soft DFE, and FPGA. We seek a talented individual to help shape and advance our next-generation algorithmic solutions, using FPGA prototyping for validation.
What you will do:
Implement advanced signal processing algorithms in FPGA using RTL and HLS techniques for DPD.Translate requirements into efficient signal processing solutions.Collaborate with experts to enhance existing solutions and develop new ones.Develop innovative signal processing solutions in a dynamic, collaborative setting.Document technical designs and collaborate with the verification team to ensure quality.
The skills you bring:
Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related field6+ years in ASIC or FPGA Design & DevelopmentProficiency in FPGA development, including simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and place & routeStrong knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms (e.g., filters, FFTs, fixed-point DSP)Programming skills in Matlab, VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog/System C, C/C++Self-motivated, independent, and a team playerAnalytical, results-oriented, and able to work under pressureProficiency in English
Additional valuable skills
Knowledge of HLS tools (e.g., Catapult, Stratus, Vivado)Experience with vector engine DSPsAbility to convert Matlab models into real-time embedded firmwareHands-on lab experience from implementation to target verificationAlgorithm development for RF transmitters and receivers
Vetting including references and relevant background screening will be conducted for final candidates.
