The successful candidate will support various high-speed, mixed-signal RF/analog/digital electrical / electronic sub system and space system design teams as an individual contributor.

We are looking for a motivated and talented Senior FPGA Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with hands-on experience in FPGA development and deployment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

As a Senior FPGA Developer, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve a variety of tasks aimed at designing, implementing, and testing FPGA-based systems. You will be reviewing project requirements and collaborating with other senior engineers to understand the design specifications and objectives. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing real-time RF signal processing algorithms. You will write and optimize code in high-level programming languages such as C, C , and Python. You will also use MATLAB to develop and test algorithms, ensuring they meet performance and accuracy standards. You will be using industry-standard FPGA development environments, including tools from Lattice (iCEcube2, Lattice Diamond), Actel (Libero IDE), and Xilinx (Vivado, ISE WebPACK). You will be responsible for synthesizing, simulating, and debugging FPGA designs, ensuring they function correctly and efficiently. In addition to technical tasks, you will participate in team meetings to discuss project progress, share insights, and address any challenges. You will also document your work, creating detailed reports and maintaining clear records of your development process. In this role you will be responsible for continuous learning and adaptation, as you stay updated with the latest advancements in FPGA technology and development tools. In this Senior FPGA Developer role, you will also help mentor junior staff and develop technical recommendations for product development and strategic planning as a technical leader.
