A financial firm is looking for a Senior Front End Application Architect to join their team in New York, NY. 

Pay: $90/hr 
Hybrid 2x onsite per week - Tues & Weds

Responsibilities:
Architectural Leadership:
• Assess current state and propose preferred target state architecture of existing web frontends.
• Formulate strategies to improve existing web frontends and to promote reuse.
Solution Design:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
• Ensure best practices are followed in frontend design, development, and deployment.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
• Work closely with portfolio solution architects and developers to assess current state and propose target state architecture for web frontends across multiple portfolios.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and suggest technical solutions.
Compliance & Security:
• Ensure that solutions comply with industry and bank standards and security policies.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong knowledge of Java Script, Type Script, HTML5 and CSS.
• Knowledge of at least two modern UI frameworks (preferably Vue and React).
• Knowledge of Document Object Model (DOM) and Web APIs.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience of Node.js and NPM.
• Knowledge of unit test frameworks like Jest.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
• Experience of D3.js
• Knowledge of three major UI frameworks (Vue, React and Angular)
