What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Front End Developer working close to one of our main clients in financial sector. You will contribute to all aspects of solution design, technical development, testing and implementation of high-quality platforms that are easy to maintain and extend.
Main tasks and accountabilities will be:
Development of web applications using front-end technologies including Next.js, React.JS, HTML5, CSS3 and Responsive Design. Development of backend services and APIs using Node.js and Serverless Technologies. Creation of user-centred designs for digital products Contributing to all aspects of software delivery in terms of design, development, testing, releasing, and monitoring. Collaborating with business stakeholders and agile analysts to effectively translate features and user stories into working software that is fit for purpose. Working with Principal Analyst Developer and Engineering Lead to implement the Technology roadmap. Working with our UX Design team to deliver the best user experience for our customers. Articulating technical solutions to non-technical and business stakeholders. Working with colleagues from other teams to identify and resolve dependencies. Writing and maintaining infrastructure as code to support CI / CD. Providing technical guidance, conducting code reviewing and mentoring team members where required. Responsible for writing all type of tests to support our Shift Left journey, build and deployment scripts to support Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery and Deployment. Contribute to agile planning and ceremonies including story refinement, demos, and retrospectives. Maintenance, support, and innovative development of a complex Digital platform to drive positive value-based outcomes for the business and our clients. Monitoring the health of our distributed Web Platform and identifying issues and opportunities for improvement. Identifying Technical Debt and keeping it under control by triggering and owning continuous improvements iterations. Producing, sharing, and maintaining high quality documentation for features involving multiple components of our Web Platform.What UST expects from you?
Good background with software design principles and patterns, designing code for readability and re-usability, scalability, and maintainability. Experience with UX/UI design. Maturity in using Test Driven Development. Understanding the entire life cycle of mature web applications and APIs. Proven Front End development skillset using React.js with nice to have experience with Next.js Framework or similar. Proven Back End development skillset using Node.js/Express.js and Serverless technologies. Experience working with Headless CMS solutions. Experience hosting and managing web applications and services in Cloud Platforms with experience using Azure being a nice to have. Ability to translate business requirements into functional specification, delivering a tested functioning solution. Strong understanding and experience applying Agile principles. Good DevOps experience in creating and maintaining automated pipelines and using Infrastructure-as-Code tooling. On calls occasionally Travel to London occasionally Good english level (B2-C1) you will be working with international teams.Work Location
100% remote within Spain.
