Senior Frontend /React Developer

Location: Zurich, Switzerland (Hybrid: 3 days on-site per week)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend /React Developer to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland. This role involves working on challenging projects within the financial services sector for our banking customer.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain various client facing features using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

· Collaborate on web development projects using React and relevant frontend solutions.

· Develop front-end libraries and reusable components.

· Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, optimized code.

· Work with microservices, containerization, and cloud-native technologies.

· Understand and write SQL queries and create database scripts (DML/DDL).

· Implement high-quality, scalable software using best practices and design patterns.

· Drive automation through test-driven development (TDD) and testing frameworks.

· Participate in Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) to deliver iterative results.

      Required Qualifications:

· Education: B.S. in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· Experience: Minimum 7 years with 5+ years of front-end development experience.

      Strong skills in:

· Frontend: React.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and state management frameworks like Redux including associated testing frameworks

· Backend: Java (Functional and OOP), Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Batch)

· Database: SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL).

· Cloud & DevOps: Microservices, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines

· Proficiency in Agile methodologies.

· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

· Fluent English language skills (both written and verbal).

      Preferred Qualifications:

· 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry.

· Familiarity with distributed architectures.
