The Cisco XDR team is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer with strong expertise in React.js. You will play a meaningful role in implementing and maintaining sophisticated user interfaces while ensuring high performance and scalability. You will collaborate closely with our product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business requirements.
Who You'll Work With
You will be working on the Incidents and Investigation applications within the XDR platform. These apps are the core tools that users will use when doing their deep threat-hunting analysis. You will work closely with UX Designers, Backend Engineers, QA, Product Owners, and other key partners to improve the user experience of our products while ensuring the maintainability of the front-end stack.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in front-end development using JavaScript3+ years of professional experience and strong proficiency in React.jsBS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
Preferred QualificationsDeep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and core browser conceptsKnowledge of frontend tools and libraries such as Webpack, Babel, and ES6Experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright, Jest and CypressExperience with performance and optimization problems, particularly at large scale, and a demonstrated ability to diagnose and prevent these problemsAbility to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose detailed iterative solutionsProven experience developing cross-browser, responsive web applications
