Senior Fulfillment Specialist/Supply Chain
Position Overview International has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Fulfillment Specialist to join our Commercial Group at our corporate headquarters in Lisle, IL. The Sr. Fulffillment Specialist is accountable for managing all parts activities required to bring a customer owned vehicle back into service. Using your communication, attention to detail and follow up skills, you will work with suppliers to update orders with shipping and tracking information to develop and maintain positive communication between all businesses within, and outside of, the company to achieve desired results of getting our customers' vehicles back on the road with limited downtime. Working collaboratively with internal and external contacts to drive for results, escalating as necessary if orders are delayed, documenting root cause, establishing action plans, keeping management and customer informed regarding progress and following through to the resolution of issues. Responsibilities Fulfills orders, including order entry, administration, and shipping Processes orders and oversees related activities of third-party vendors to ensure orders flow effectively through systems and processes in accordance with the organization's customer service standards Develops capacity plans to support build-to-stock and/or build-to-order environments Ensures adequate inventory levels are maintained to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost Prepares and maintains volume and demand planning analyses and supply and production schedules based on internal and external information to establish and effectively manage an order backlog Demonstrate organizational skills and sense of urgency in a fast-paced multi-task environment when answering and responding to customer needs Provides input to continuous improvement and lean operating practices to support International and our customers Enhance supplier on time delivery through interfacing directly and routinely with suppliers Support work-around and contingency plans, including deliveries from alternate suppliers / sources Communicate supply issues to Parts management and Purchasing Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree At least 2 years of supply chain experience and/or customer service experience OR Master’s degree OR At least 4 years of supply chain experience and/or customer service experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Desired Skills Knowledge of Parts Systems (DRP, TOLAS, PeopleSoft, etc.) and proficient in MS Word & Excel and working multiple systems Excellent communication skills Customer service driven Ability to multi-task and prioritize Effective decision-making, problem solving and analytical skills and ability to develop creative solutions and process improvements Negotiating experience with recognizable results Confident self-starter that drives for results under minimal supervision Strong team player that exhibits managerial courage and can effectively cope with change and shift gears comfortably Solid understanding of Supply Chain concepts Relates well to all kinds of people inside and outside of the organization Familiarity with commercial truck/bus/diesel engine products and global aftermarket Company Overview At International Motors, LLC* (“International”), we’ve never backed away from forging our own path.
