Senior Full Stack Engineer
Job Description:

Position Description: 

 

Generates dynamic page content and collects form data with Node.js. Uses Angular 10+ to add syntax elements that extend HTML and dynamic values. Develops applications using HTML5, CSS3, Java, J2EE, Azure SQL, MySQL, Maven or Ant, Git, and REST. Builds separate networks inside the cloud using AWS' Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). Uses Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) for meeting business requirements while ensuring code quality and software security. Develops websites and software, task automation, data analysis, and data visualization using Python scripting. Improves and creates a modern and sophisticated platform using the Advanced Java/J2EE, Tomcat, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JS/Angular, HTML, NodeJS, Bootstrap, Jenkins, Kafka, and Oracle, and manages code with Git, Maven, or Ant. Employs containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization. Involved in writing Junit and Mockito framework to test the application and performs random checks to analyze the portability, reliability, and flexibility of the project. 

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

 

Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts. 

Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms. 

Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives. 

Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation. 

Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing. 

Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives. 

Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. 

Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. 

Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project. 

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. 

 

Education and Experience: 

 

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (or closely related occupation) developing, deploying, and managing scalable web applications and microservices in enterprise-level environments including financial services platforms and supply chain platforms, according to Agile Scrum-based methodologies.  

 

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (or closely related occupation) developing, deploying, and managing scalable web applications and microservices in enterprise-level environments including financial services platforms and supply chain platforms, according to Agile Scrum-based methodologies. 

 

Skills and Knowledge: 

 

Candidate must also possess: 

 

Demonstrated Experience (“DE”) designing and developing enterprise-level applications, ensuring seamless integration with various internal and external systems to build scalable and maintainable solutions utilizing Java/J2EE technologies and frameworks including Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Angular. 

DE developing microservices-based applications using Spring Boot; designing and developing RESTful and SOAP APIs focusing on high availability and fault tolerance using Spring Cloud, Resilience4j, and Eureka; implementing robust security measures including Oauth2, JWT, and Spring security to safeguard applications and complying with industry regulations; and deploying microservices on cloud platforms including AWS, and utilizing cloud-native services -- Lambda, EC2, EKS, or ECS -- for enhanced performance and scalability. 

DE configuring and managing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Maven to streamline development and deployment and ensure high code quality and application security; and deploying containerized applications using Docker and orchestrating them with Kubernetes to ensure high availability and efficient resource utilization. 

DE managing and optimizing data storage solutions across Oracle, SQL Server, or NoSQL databases including MongoDB; utilizing tools including Splunk, App dynamics, or Datadog for monitoring application performance and scalability; and developing and maintaining custom libraries to enhance productivity and standardization across projects.
