Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Functional Analyst/Senior Functional Analyst
REPORTING TO: Manager
REPORTING LOCATION: Bangalore
WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

You are expected to:

Collaborate with business users/subject matter experts to elicit, review, and document functional requirements, including functional test descriptions and acceptance criteria.Have experience with business requirements, creating Epics, Themes, and User Stories.Produce artifacts such as screen mockups, workflows, business process flows, and gap analysis documents.Work with the system architect to collaboratively develop business solutions.Ensure that User Stories are prepared and updated throughout the development process to reflect ongoing developments.Review Test Scenarios and Test Cases as required, providing input to user stories.Produce user manuals and how-to-use documents for end users and relevant stakeholders.Objectively provide ROI and business value for strategic projects.Ensure that extensive Test Cases are properly written/updated and validated in close collaboration with the QA Test team for new or updated features.Conduct Functional Testing: extensively test new functionalities delivered by the Development team before delivery, report issues, and follow up until delivered functionalities meet the expected level of quality.Escalate and follow up in a timely manner on any and all issues that might be blockers or deviate from SOPs.Contribute to troubleshooting, testing, and documenting selected application functions at a high-quality level.
