Senior Furniture Designer

The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate, curious and driven senior designer with expertise in home furnishings, product design, from trend identification to concept to final product; experience in managing departments and teams.

You will be located in West Chester, Ohio

You will manage product development designs, processes, development for categories including home furnishings, accessories and seasonal products, from initial concepts through final sample approval.You will help define design direction for long-term planning of catalog layouts and merchandising priorities.You will be reporting to our Sr Director, Merchanding

Your Impact

You will work with the merchandising leader to develop the creation of seasonal and core design direction (materials, finishes, shapes, and details) that achieve overall merchandising vision and Brand Strategy.You will manage design projects and processes to ensure you are developing SKU-level designs from conception through revisions to final sample approval - that support our seasonal concepts, opportunities and big ideas, merchant line plans, assortment strategies, price points, and overall creative direction.You will lead collaboration with teams and through the design life cycle, utilizing vendor-relationship skills.You will travel for inspiration and collaborate with merchandising to review proprietary seasonal designs.

What You Bring

7+ years experience in design/drafting and specifying furniture or home decor products.Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related degreeExcellent 2 and 3-D sketching and CADPassionate about interior design and furniture design.Must be proficient in Excel (can perform complex functions), Word, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) and expert in solid works.

Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
