Job Description
The individual will be responsible for supporting and leading the technical demands of the site gas and/or chemical equipment. They will ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and drive flawless execution.
***Subject Matter Expert for gas, chemical and/or slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution.
The individuals will be a part of the onsite Project and equipment team and will support the gas and chemical operations in 11 buildings throughout Santa Clara and Sunnyvale.
The Technicians will be responsible for supporting and leading the technical challenges for over 2000 pieces of gas and chemical distribution equipment of various types and vendors.
They will ensure compliance when writing, editing, and executing operating and maintenance procedures and drive a ZERO safety or quality incident culture.
The individuals will also be involved in project and sustaining operations, Basic Safety Processes, quality management, preventative maintenance, and training.
They will support the installation, decommissioning, and troubleshooting.
- The repair of all Electronics Gas Systems, Applied Energy Systems gas systems, Fuji liquid delivery systems, Air Liquide Gas and Chemical systems.
- The individual must be capable of performing cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems and perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment.
- Must demonstrate quality and comprehensive knowledge of gas or chemical applications in wafer fabrication and emergency response.
Sr Technicians will undergo comprehensive OJT and technical training and qualification programs. This is a career opportunity in a growing industry.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
Associate / Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electronics, design, or engineering
10 + years of experience as a maintenance or equipment technician
Experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment
Experience with gas and chemical systems in a semiconductor ultra-high purity operation as an equipment technician
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS;
Navy Nuclear power school or Military mechanic trained.
