Cabot Corporation is seeking a Digital Business Relationship Manager (BRM) Order to Cash (O2C) to join the Digital organization in Billerica, MA; Alpharetta, GA; or Riga, Latvia. The O2C BRM will drive Digital Strategy in Global Business Services O2C area, covering data management, order acceptance, transport booking, credit management, invoicing, and customer payments. This role combines O2C process knowledge with digital solutions expertise to drive innovation and enhance business value.

 

The O2C BRM partners with the O2C Global Process Owner and Delivery Center Operations teams, aiming to integrate O2C and Digital as strategic partners. They collaborate with regional digital partners, enterprise architects, project managers, business analysts, and data teams to align projects with business needs and technology. This role focuses on evolving culture, building strategic partnerships, and driving business value through information and technology.

Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of digital services, developing a strategic roadmap, prioritizing projects, aligning technology with business needs, and assisting in the development of Digital strategy.

How You Will Make an Impact Elevating Digital into a strategic partner via strong partnership with functional leaders to evolve culture and organizational behavior by coaching GBS O2C business partners to articulate the technology needs and requirements in their function that will advance business performance.Developing deep knowledge of the O2C function and building positive relationships, both horizontally and vertically to ensure that the O2C function’s strategy and key performance indicators are identified and leveraged for effective Digital demand shaping.Serving as the point of escalation for digital day-to-day operations and are also accountable to drive our vision of exceptional experiences by partnering with the different digital groups and managed service providers in a culture of shared ownership.Accountable for the delivery of enhancements and proactively understanding and tracking activity (e.g., tickets, requests, customer feedback metrics) related to their functional area(s)Partner with the O2C Global Process Owner and delivery center leaders on pre-project ideation, evaluation of proposals, building business cases, and planning new initiatives. Partner with solutions and enterprise architects to develop capability roadmaps and determine how they fit into enterprise-wide capability roadmaps and priorities.Lead as the strategic interface between Cabot Digital and O2C function to stimulate, surface, and shape function demand and ensure that the potential business value from those assets and capabilities is captured, realized, optimized, and recognized.Ensuring business case value realization and optimization, from value plans through consultancy, business case development, financial awareness, managing expectations, and identifying opportunities to add value.Operationalize the IT strategy, deliver on-time and in-budget, enable/advocate for the necessary process transformations, and finally ensure adoption and value realization.Ensure project and initiative progress, including consistent and effective communication.  This includes managing escalation and avoiding risk.Monitoring Performance and KPI's to ensure services are aligned with customer needs, are delivered and value is delivered by technology to the business. What You Will Bring to Cabot Bachelor’s degree with technical related discipline is strongly preferred.A minimum of 7 years of related experience A minimum of 5 years’ experience facilitating the development and implementation of digital business initiatives and projects based on GBS Order to Cash (O2C) organizational objectives.Experience across one or more of the following ERP Systems (JD Edwards, SAP, or other ERP system).Strong understanding of information technology and prior experience understanding needs and making recommendations to deliver technology solutions that create business value.Demonstrated track record of creating technology solutions to solve business problems (globally, or across multiple divisions or regions within a single company).Strong collaboration, teamwork and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions in the organization.Ability to set expectations with business partners and effectively leverage governance for a positive business partner experience.Demonstrated ability to interact with, influence and motivate others using diplomacy, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to achieve win-win outcomes.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical or complex subject matter in business terms.An exceptional listener, able to comprehend what is said and probe for important details.Highly skilled at creating business requirements documents, use cases, user acceptance test plans, process flow and data flow diagrams.Demonstrated acumen and passion for business and technology.  Understands the IT industry, e.g., emerging technologies and trends, industry standards, solution architecture, and the vendor landscape.
