We are looking for the following person in our Darmstadt Office (Germany):

Main tasks:

Assist internal and external audits, You will be the point of contact for internal and external auditors jointed the Head of Finance. Manage tax authority inquiries/audits. You will be interface within accounting team and other departments. You will prepare annual financial statements and statistics in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) as well as monthly VAT and annual tax returns in cooperation with external partners. You will work on tax issues in cooperation with internal and external partners and communication with tax office. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of statutory tax disclosures and, quarterly and year-end tax provisions and tax account reconciliations. Supporting in processing of vendors invoices. Supporting in Checking and processing of Travel Expenses and Credit Card Statements. Monthly Posting and Reconciliation of accruals/prepaids. Preparation of payments forecast reports and data capturing (balances + movements) for forecast and processing of regular payment run. Reconciliation of payables balances and investigation on unapplied items. Ensure that accounting / financial information is accurate. Fixed and Assets. Inventory. Intercompany.

Your Profile:

Accounting and Finance university degree or Certified education as a Finance specialist. At least 5 years of General Accounting experience. Good experience with local statutory accounting- and tax compliance, able to prepare statutory accounts under German GAAP. Proficient with MS Office: Outlook, Excel. Analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. High level communication skills. Native or fluent German, good level of English (verbal and written), any other European language is a big plus. Positive attitude and teamwork skills used to work in an international environment. High quality standards. Good in transmitting knowledge. Pragmatic view and honest communication, priority/deadline oriented. Used to work in an international environment and international Corporations.
