Role Responsibilities: We are looking for a seasoned data leader to set up and scale our Data and Analytics function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and leading high performing data and analytics teams, driving business outcomes through data driven insights and developing scalable architecture.

Key responsibilitiesSupport executive decision making by sharing insights derived from advanced analyticsIdentify, develop and deliver key analytics projects based on the defined overall business strategy that will make a significant impact on the organizationResponsible for owning all the data sources (coming in and going out) and ensuring data availability within USL across all systemsResponsible for setting up processes and systems for master data managementWork closely and collaborate with multiple stakeholders such as business partners, solution architects and analysts to design tools using latest technologiesDesign and develop data warehouse to ensure global alignment and scalabilityEnsure smooth data exchange across applications avoiding any duplicationLead the delivery of agreed reports, dashboards and analytics through service providersResponsible for modelling complex problems and processes using various analytical tools and methodsWork across functions & teams to solve problem, measure and track suitable metrics for efficiency and effectivenessDisplay knowledge of different Data Analytics Tools/ Techniques, Database Management Systems, Statistical Modelling and optimizationDevelop deep capabilities in reporting, testing and optimization, measurement and customer segmentation to service business needs • Efficiency of using different analytics tools/ techniquesQuality of insights and actionable submittedNo. of insights submitted as per the agreed time frameTAT for reports/ dashboard that need to be publishedAccuracy of reports/ dashboard that need to be published

Experience / skills required:

Qualification:

Graduate in Statistics/Economics/Quantitative sciences/ Engineering or equivalentMaster’s / MBA preferred

Experience:

12-15 years of experience in building and leading analytics agenda for a large company and at least 7+ years in a leadership role

Knowledge & skills:

Technical skills: proficiency in data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing, data governance and data quality. Experience with data science tools like Python, R, SQL and visualization tools like Power BI. Experience with cloud based data platforms like Azure, AWS etcLeadership skills: Proven ability to build, manage and motivate high performing team. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsBusiness Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and strategy. Ability to communicate complex data insights to non technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

 Certifications in data scilence, analytics or related fieldsIndustry experience in similar industry as alco-bev (eg CPG, Manufacturing etc)
