THE JOB:
 

As a Senior General Manager at Aria, you'll oversee daily pool operations, including food & beverage services, ensuring top-tier service that aligns with our brand standards. You'll be responsible for managing budgets, optimizing labor, and driving overall financial success—all while fostering an engaging and positive work environment for your team and providing exceptional guest experience.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Leads the implementation of policies, operating procedures, training programs, manuals, directives, work schedules, rules, and regulations for pool operations.

Responsible for employee engagement of the pool operations team, utilizing the tools provided through training, coaching, rewards, and development.

Drives revenue for the area by ensuring cabana/rental rates effectively yield.

Provides leadership and direction to maintain and improve the guest experience within the pool area

Interviews, selects, trains, supervises, counsels, and coaches the pool team for the efficient operation of the pool department.

Ensures the pool area operates following local health and safety guidelines, and that all lifeguards receive the necessary training.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

2+ years of prior experience in high volume food and beverage management or pool operations

Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Knowledge of health and sanitation codes.

Knowledge of pool safety programs, training, and documentation to ensure the safety of guests

Proficient understanding of F&B division, budgeting, profit and loss statement, labor costs, food and beverage costs, and operational expenses.

Previous experience in a similar luxury resort setting

Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement
