The Senior Generative AI Engineer, reporting to the Head of AI/ML Innovation, will work with the Generative AI team to accelerate Experian's impact by bringing together data, technology, and data science to build game-changing products and services for our customers. We are looking for a Generative AI Engineer, Sr., to help develop our specialized Generative AI Models in integration with Consumer Services products. You will develop a scalable framework for developing specialized Generative AI modelsYou can develop scalable pipelines, tools, and services for building production-ready Generative AI modelsYou will work with our data engineers, ml engineers, and software engineers to pilot our products with beta customersMaintain our culture of simple, streamlined code and full CI/CD automationDevelop simple, streamlined, and well-tested ML pipeline components

Qualifications5+ years of experience working with machine learning or generative AI libraries such as Langchain, llamaindex, Langsmith, and llamaguardOpen source Foundation models: llama3, llama2, mistral, falcon, phi, dbrx, arctic, BertOff-the-shelf models: GPT, Claude, GeminiEmbedding models: nomic, ada, bge, e5Orchestration Frameworks: mlflow, airflowExtensive experience working with retrieval augmented generation and supporting databases/libraries such as: Vector databases: chromadb, pgvector, qdrant, pinecone, weaviate, and milvusChunking algorithms/strategiesEmbedding models/dimensionsAdvanced knowledge in Python/PySpark and SQLExperience working in the Databricks AI Suite of products, particularly Mosaic branded productsFamiliarity with the AWS platform and services including CI/CD automation methodsExperience with fine tuning LLMs or SLMs and working with large sets of data
