The Opportunity
Working within the Ground Engineering team, you will use your existing technical and professional skills to direct others in interpreting and characterising the ground, geotechnical analysis, report writing and production of drawings and specifications, to deliver projects across a range of markets and sectors. You will also take a role in mentoring and managing our junior members of the team and promote skill sharing across disciplines. This role requires a good appreciation of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering and their application in the built environment with the critical thinking skills to assess the buildability of the designs you prepare.
This role is based from Bristol, from where you'll also work with colleagues in our Cardiff and Southampton offices, as well as the wider UK.

Is this role right for you?
As a Chartered Senior Engineer you will have established skills and experience to critically guide and review geotechnical work by others such as:
Characterising the ground for engineering purposes; Design of shallow and deep foundations, slopes, retaining walls, basements, and bridges; Preparing geotechnical documents such as desk studies, interpretative reports, and specifications; Attending site to oversee ground investigations or construction of geotechnical solutions; Using digital technologies such as the use of finite element software, GIS, programming, and data processing.Not ready to apply just yet, or have a few questions?
