Senior Global Credit Financial Analyst - Chicago, IL

Position Summary:
The Credit Process and Analytics team owns global customer receivable and sales data and holds responsibility for data, reporting, and analytics for global Credit and Collections teams. The team also has the responsibility of owning the GetPaid system used by Credit and Collections, participating in future state process design within the 1ADM initiative, and working on projects to standardize and improve global credit and collections processes. The team will also serve as liaison for Credit and Collections with ADM IT and other third party solution providers (i.e. FIS – GetPaid) and holds responsibility for the global allowance for doubtful accounts estimates, analysis, and reporting.  The successful candidate for this position will report directly to the Credit Process and Analytics Senior Manager.

Job Responsibilities:Responsibility for Global Alowance for Doubtful Accounts (AFDA) estimate consolidation and reconciliation, overall reserve analysis, and quarterly reportingAnalysis of global economic impacts to AFDA and co-efficient recommendationsWork with audit to provide requested data and explanations, other ad hoc requests/reports related to AFDAOwnership and update responsibilities for AFDA policy and AFDA related SOX controls and walk-throughsResponsibility for customer receivable data – ensure accuracy of AR data within data tables, maintain credit master data, understanding the data and how to queryMaintain and build dashboards and ad hoc reportsPreparation and presentation of AR data, analyzing and calling out trends and red flagsRelationship ownership and reporting with third party credit bureausProcess improvement projects within global Credit and Collections teamsJob Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting5+ years of experience in Controlling, Accounting, or FinanceUnderstanding of balance sheet reconciliations and US GAAP principlesStrong critical thinking and problem solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft programs (Excel, SharePoint, Access, PowerPoint)Flexibility in working hours for global collaborationAdditional Qualifications Knowledge of data query and interfacesExperience in Lean or other process improvement methodologiesFamiliarity with systems such as Informatica, GetPaid, HFM, Cetova, Alteryx, Rulex and other ADM systemsExcited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
