Purpose
AbbVie’s Global Internal Audit function plays a critical role in protecting and enhancing the organization’s value through risk-based assurance and advisory services to internal stakeholders, senior management, and our Audit Committee of the Board.
Internal Audit strives to be a critical function to evaluate company, industry and emerging risks, effectively partnering with the business, and consistently recruit and develop key finance talent. Our goals are carried-out through the talent of the audit team, while leveraging analytical and audit tools, supported by a dynamic and collaborative team culture.

We drive meaningful dialogue, analysis, and tools that allow us to partner with our stakeholders on key decisions, aimed at assessing and improving AbbVie’s control environment.

Responsibilities
+ Plan and execute audits of various systems and processes, both U.S. and international.
+ Partner with peers in completing risk assessments of various locations, systems, and processes to determine audit scope.
+ Prepare and present audit findings to audit leadership and business stakeholders.
+ Identify and communicate risk and control themes to various stakeholders.
+ Assist in the execution of various internal initiatives to improve the quality of IA work products and processes.
Qualifications
Qualifications
+ At least 3 years of IT Audit, Cybersecurity, or related experience in similar fields (Computer Science, Informatics, IT or Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance, etc.).
+ Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Decision and Information Sciences, Computer Information Systems, Computer Sciences, Accounting/Finance, etc.).
+ Strong written and verbal communications skills, including listening and interviewing skills and influencing skills with ability to discuss complex issues clearly.
+ Possesses proficient understanding of: IT general controls (e.g., access management, change management, disaster recovery & backup, infrastructure, etc.), Cybersecurity, Cloud, IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance, and Software Development Lifecycle.
+ Ability to ‘coach others’, and ‘be coached’ (by peers, management, and partners).
+ 5 – 15% travel to AbbVie's international and U.S. locations.
+ In office/face-to-face interaction at company’s head office and audit locations.

+ The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
+ We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
+ This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.

Salary: $80,500 - $153,000
