Your role
As Senior Global Quality Manager, your role is to ensure that the Transitions product processed in multiple sites using various process technologies is meeting the agreed product specifications and complies with the associated product claims. You will drive quality disciplines throughout our key processes from Mix Lab Operations through our core manufacturing processes (Imbibing, Trans-Bonding & Trans-Polarizing) and through to our packaging & finishing processes. You will support the downstream industrialization of new products & processes in association with the Innovation Quality, R&D and GE teams. Your mission will be to drive product and process conformity across multiple platforms to protect our brand and you will be a key member of the Transitions Global Quality team.
The fast changing Transitions environment means systems and processes must continually evolve and keep pace with increasing complexity. Transitions is seeking someone with a strong process mind-set and analytical skills to support process definition & standardization, product & process risk assessments, compliance to control plans and claims. You will play a key role interfacing with the sites processing Transitions products and identifying sources of variation & opportunities to embed risk based thinking and control plan methodology to guarantee product performance & monitor compliance to product claims and regulatory guidelines.
Main Responsibilities
Leads the Global Quality(GQ) staff team based in Asia (Philippines, Thailand)
Drives Product & Process Capability tracking - Analysis & development of action plans to ensure consistency and stability; monitor & report compliance & analyse trends for critical-to-quality parameters across regions/ platforms
Provides global Quality process support to network of Transitions MP sites in the areas of data analysis, process definition, Risk analysis, management of change, industrialization and launch support, etc.
Key GQ representative for global/regional projects relating to introduction of new product and industrial projects where there are process/raw material changes
Support Legal Manufacturer responsibilities – Audit support of Transitions manufacturing sites – in line with responsibilities of Transitions as a Legal Manufacturer who designs, controls/monitors the manufacturing processes & the placement of medical devices on the market
Leads global sub-teams for initiatives on process and product conformity, continuous improvement and related problem resolution efforts
Manage resolution of Supplier & Customer issues related to product not meeting specifications which includes escalation & associated action plans
Support new business development for Transitions products especially for business cases in Asia region
Main Requirements
Bachelor degree, or higher, in an engineering or science discipline
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a high volume manufacturing facility with strong quality assurance discipline
Intellectually sharp, capable and can conceptualize systems and solutions. Pursues improvement projects with energy, drive and a need to finish.
Experience of risk assessments, control plan development, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and capability analysis
Solves problems through the application of appropriate scientific, experimental, and statistical methods. Application of Six Sigma and similar methods for reducing variation and improving process knowledge.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access)
Strong presentation skills, utilizing tools to address opportunities for improvement and experience in providing reports and data analysis to a variety of audiences.
