The Boeing Company is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Government Accountant to join our team in Renton, WA or Hazelwood, MO.
In this role you will:
Dive into the Details: Support the preparation and auditing of Incurred Cost Submittals while assisting with monthly closings on indirect costs
Team Up for Success: Collaborate with management and team leads to review work statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance every step of the way
Lead and Share Your Knowledge: Take the lead on incurred cost submittals, serve as the go-to person for audit requests, and help train new team members on SAP and allocation processes
Position Responsibilities:
Assist with monthly closing processes related to indirect costs
Approve closing packages on a monthly basis
Approve reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
Serve as the audit focal point for any incurred costs audit requests or related inquiries
Support the preparation and auditing of Incurred Cost Submittals
Participate in the implementation of SAP and provide training to new employees on allocation processes
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of accounting experience
Experience in government accounting
Proven knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) or working knowledge of Enterprise Accounting System (EAS)
Strong team player with intellectual curiosity and learning agility

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $95,200 - $138,000
