Senior Grant Writer and Foundation Relation Specialist

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 am to 5 pm

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 / year

The Senior Grant Writer and Foundation Relations Specialist reports to the Vice President of Communications & Development and will be responsible for writing compelling proposals, researching funding opportunities, and stewarding relationships from corporate and foundation partners to advance Vinfen's mission and strategic initiatives.

The Senior Grant Writer and Foundation Relations Specialist will be responsible for:

Grant Writing and Proposal Development:

Writes persuasive grant proposals, demonstrating strong writing skills and a clear articulation of Vinfen's mission and impact. Prepares and submits funding requests, cultivate relationships with funders, and meet with them, as necessary. Participates in developing fundraising strategy for the overall annual foundation goal as well as specific programs and projects. Collaborates with internal teams to gather program information and develop accurate budgets for proposals. Conducts thorough research to identify alignment between Vinfen's programs and the funding priorities of potential funders. Collaborates with program staff to gather necessary information, data, and outcomes to support grant applications. Maintains a grants calendar, tracks activity, and conducts ongoing prospect research.

Grant Management:

Manages the full grant lifecycle, including prospect research, proposal development, submission, reporting, and compliance. Collaborates with program staff to gather information, outcomes, and success stories for grant applications and reports. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to corporate and foundation partners, including financial and programmatic data.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including program directors, finance, and communications teams, to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities. Communicates regularly with senior leadership. Performs other duties as assigned.
