Job Purpose & Scope Responsible for a range of activities, from design inception to layout and production, for a wide variety of graphic art, print, and digital assignments, and uses a variety of medias to communicate our brand, business, policies, and processes. Essential Job Functions + Mentors other internal graphic designers and third-party partners to ensure consistency and continuous improvement of the Bank OZK objectives. + Designs print and digital materials that uphold the Bank OZK brand and inspire people to take action and engage with the content. + Develops and provides recommendations to content that enhances assigned objectives in collaboration with internal stakeholders. + Focuses on both conception and execution of ideas to accomplish business objectives. + Maintains effective working relationships with internal and external collaborators to ensure deliverables are produced on time and meet standards. + Manages multiple design projects to support assigned objectives and corporate communications. + Develops presentations to share and promote creative concepts to senior management. + Displays and encourages enthusiasm for continuous learning, scanning the marketplace and leveraging best practices from within and outside industry. + Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions. + Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work. + Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities + Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and digital design. + Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. + Ability to communicate effective both verbally and in writing. + Ability to work without close supervision. + Ability to manage multiple tasks with exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to demonstrate excellent and effective customer service skills. + Ability to maintain confidentiality. + Ability to demonstrate effective creativity, initiative, organization, project management, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work effectively and demonstrate flexibility in a continually changing environment. + Ability to demonstrate attention to detail. + Ability to display enthusiasm for continuous learning and opportunities to take on special projects. + Ability to demonstrate visual design skills. + Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Basic Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in arts, graphic design, or relevant field, required. + 2+ years’ experience in graphic design, required. + Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects, preferred.
