As Senior Graphics Programmer, you will…

Write clear, maintainable, highly functional code and portable C++ codeUnderstand entire graphics engine architecture, from game interface to graphics API interfaceWrite and maintain custom shaders across a range of hardwareTest and document code you writeSupport and maintains existing systemsWork well with other engineers, artists and designersAccurately estimate your schedules and deliver high quality work products to that scheduleProvide technical expertise to develop cutting-edge technologies to include: architecture, design, prototype, implement, test, debug, document, profile, maintain, and supportReview code from other team members Qualifications

What Makes You S.P.E.C.I.A.L.

You have at least 5 years C++ development and graphics programming experience in gaming industryYou have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experienceYou have experience in design and implementation of cutting-edge graphics techniques and detailed knowledge of graphics hardwareYou have experience with DirectX 11 level shaders and HLSLYou are an expert in building multithreaded, real-time systemsYou have experience writing systems balancing performance and maintainabilityYou possess excellent analytical and mathematical skillsYou have strong interpersonal skills and problem solving abilityYou have experience profiling and optimizing both CPU and GPU utilizationYou have experience with game editor plugins/modificationYou possess the ability to contribute innovative and original ideas towards all aspects of game production and developmentYou can work well under pressure and handle multiple tasksYou have a passion for making GREAT gamesYou have a strong familiarity with Bethesda Game Studios games Preferred Skills

Senior Graphics Programmer - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $100,000 - $215,000 per year.

         

ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

 

At ZeniMax certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, such as merit increases and discretionary bonuses. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are not guaranteed.
