Job Description
The Senior Group Leader will provide leadership and guidance to direct staff and colleagues to ensure achievement of all departmental goals, focusing on timely and accurate payment processing. The position will proactively identify and recommend new processes and efficiencies for the team. The successful candidate will also provide analytical, operational, and customer-centered support to all clinical payment stakeholders and internal team members.
Responsibilities
+ Manages workload within workgroup from initiation through closeout, ensuring that departmental goals and metrics are being met.
+ Troubleshoots and executes problem solving with minimal managerial supervision.
+ Provides internal and external clients with seamless customer service and a consistent high level of quality work in the processing of payments.
+ Identifies and manage payment risks and issues, escalating compliance and financial challenges as appropriate.
+ Leads innovations through lessons learned and best practice sessions.
+ Provides performance feedback for team members on their individual performance reviews and ensure all direct reports are appropriately trained.
+ Ensures departmental compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
+ Identifies opportunities to enhance systems or processes. Help define best business practices and lead training and implementation within the team.
+ Effectively collaborates with internal and external stakeholders
+ May have supervisory responsibility for direct reports/outsourced vendor.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Accounting preferred and/or 8+ years of equivalent related work experience is required.
+ Strong communication skills and customer support.
+ Proficiency in SAP is required, and DSP experience is preferred.
+ Experience with clinical studies and contract budgets is preferred.
+ Excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
+ Able to influence without authority.

• Finance, including the Affiliate Finance, Outsourcing, and US Site Payments Team
• Clinical Program Development (CPD)

+ The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
+ We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
+ This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.

Salary: $80,500 - $153,000
