Job Description:

The Senior Group Risk Specialist, Technology Architecture provides a comprehensive and diverse range of technology & cybersecurity risk management expertise to business leaders. As part of TD's second line risk oversight function, they will leads and support the implementation of appropriate risk frameworks and related management activities to mitigate enterprise risk exposures related to technology architecture, including oversight, independent challenge, and recommendations based on overall strategy and industry best practices.

As an expert in technology risk and controls, they will not only provide advisory services to risk executives and first line control partners, but also help integrate knowledge technology architecture into the technology risk strategy by leading program design and operating standards within their domain.

Job Requirements

Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.Undergraduate degree or technical certificate and/or10+ years relevant experienceAdvanced knowledge of risk management governance, programs, policies, practices, operating frameworks & reporting for business supported and/or area of discipline to deliver objective guidance and independent challenge on initiatives.Knowledge of technology & cybersecurity risk management environment, standards, regulations and mitigation, including NIST, FFIEC, Basel, and OSFI frameworks.Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trendsAbility to contribute to strategic direction of the function and provide advice to senior leadershipSkill in mentoring and coachingSkill in using advanced analytical software tools, data analysis methods and specialized reporting techniquesAdvanced ability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of initiativesAbility to make an impact, influence, and achieve results with effective negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skillsSkill in using computer applications including MS OfficeAbility to communicate effectively in both oral and written formAbility to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functionsAbility to work successfully as a member of a team and independentlyAbility to exercise sound judgement in making decisionsAbility to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlinesAbility to handle confidential information with discretion
