Senior GTS Automation Engineer

Position objective

To automate the GTS process, develop internal audits to the software & databases related to customs & compliance activities.
 

Roles & responsibilities

1. Automate internal GTS processes

 

Identifying opportunities to increase efficiency with automationResearching and designing automation technologyContribute to the development and support of data science for the optimization of Global trade compliance processesResearches and identifies applicable regulatory and industry compliance standards and codes. Develops compliance plans by researching, analyzing, selecting, and applying compliance engineering concepts, approaches, techniques, and criteria. Adapts and modifies compliance engineering options.Identify data and performance issues and make improvementsComplex analysis of data in order to bring out its value in support of the management and operations teamsWork with stakeholders affected by data issues and collaborate with transformation change management teams to align adjustments to be made

Support operations and project teams in data management to ensure data integrity that supports decision-making and the automation of processes and procedures


2. Automation of systems and solution Administration (Annex 24, Annex 31, Archiving system, others)

 Lead automation projects related with Customs.  Communicating with clients about project requirementsIdentifying opportunities to increase efficiency with automationResearching and designing automation technologyDeveloping tests and simulations to ensure the systems work as intendedEstablishing monitoring and QA processesInvestigating defects or errors in the technologyAutomate Analysis of Bill of materials (Queretaro & Juarez)Comparison from consumption (backflush) reports from SAP & AranxelAutomate analysis of import and export entries SQL sentences in the customs software for operation purposesAutomate Internal GTS auditsMachine learningArtificial Intelligence applied to the businessDesigned, created, and maintained Solution Design Documents Contributed the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Comprehensive data management in various formats, including JSON, HTML, XML, CSV, and XLSX.Served as a Design Authority (DA) to ensure solutions adhered to development best practices.Exposed web services within the RPA environment and consumed third-party web services from the virtual workforce. Ability to create solution proposals and robotic process automation architecture for compliance purposes

At least 6 years experience in a previous related position.
