Senior Hardware Developer

This involves working with leading semiconductor and storage suppliers ranging from Networking Hardware (Switches, Routers, AOC etc) CPU, Memory, GPU, NAND and HDD through to SSD and JBODs.
You will interface with Oracle design, internal and external manufacturing partners through to our end customers.
You will be responsible for defining, measuring and meeting key performance indicators. (DPM/AFR/RPM), supporting quality performance through NPI to EOL
Driving root cause and corrective actions with your suppliers
Support new product/platform introductions
Partner with commodity team members to maximise continuity of quality supply.
Partner in supplier roadmap reviews

Knowledge :

A good understanding of operations of PC/Server hardware components such as Switches, Routers, CPU, Memory, GPU, HDD and SSD
A good understanding of semiconductor manufacture and test

You should be numerate, familiar with data and data manipulation
Experience in volume manufacturing would be a benefit
An understanding or experience with networking hardware operation would be beneficial (Routers, Switches, Optical Interconnects)
Statistical process control
Root cause analysis techniques (8D, Fishbone etc)
