Job Description
As a Electrical Engineer, you will provide electronics technical expertise in a variety of areas relating to the design of electronic products and the production and sustainment of these products.
ResponsibilitiesProvide technical expertise for component related issues including alternate component selection for obsolescence issues, and assisting on process issues.Guide technicians with the testing and debug of products.Design for EMI/EMC.Provide technical reports and communications to team members.Redesign the PCBA components considering value engineering.Familiarize with the PCBA components and the market commodities of the materials to identify the standard parts and assess material suitability.Cost down for the materials.Essential SkillsFour-year degree in electrical/electronic engineering or demonstrated equivalent experience.Minimum of 4 years experience related to electronics design at the PCB level.Ability to understand PCB component level schematics.Ability to use standard test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes to logically troubleshoot PCBs to the component level.Understanding of application and critical characteristics of typical electronics components including resistors, capacitors, diodes, inductors, digital logic microcontrollers and processors, linear and switching regulators, ADCs, etc.Good written and verbal communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsEmbedded systems hardware design experience.Demonstrated strong communication and problem-solving skills.Experience in automotive type electronics.Work Environment
Mostly in a cubicle setting with some time required in electronics labs.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00
