We are looking for a **Senior Hardware Manufacturing Program Manager t** o join the team.
As Microsoft's cloud business continues to grow the ability to deploy new offerings and hardware infrastructure on time, in high volume with high quality and lowest cost is of paramount importance. To achieve this goal, the Hardware, Infrastructure Management, and Fundamentals Engineering (HIFE) team is instrumental in defining and delivering operational measures of success for hardware manufacturing, improving the planning process, quality, delivery, scale and sustainability related to Microsoft cloud hardware. We are looking for dedicated engineers with experience for customer focused solutions, insight and industry knowledge to envision and implement future technical solutions that will manage and optimize the cloud infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**
+ Manage thedeployment of complex technical products into data centers, coordinating with diverse teams across technical, operational, and logistics domains.
+ Utilize past experience in silicon/ systems/ product development (NPI and sustaining) to drive both technical and operational management of data center products.
+ Leverage engineering background/ knowledge in problem solving
+ Maintain ownership of the manufacturing processes while having a thorough understanding of the program from concept to dock.
+ Manage technical hardware programs from requirements to launch, including project schedules, removing roadblocks, and ensuring smooth processes.
+ Align stakeholders and manage projects to completion on schedule, within budget, and with high quality.
+ Communicate program plans and status with management and team members, tailoring the message to the audience.
+ Navigate and lead others through complex technical challenges and business issues to deliver impactful results.
+ Provide timely and detailed status reports to senior leadership and internal stakeholders.

**Qualifications**
**Required** **Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
+ 2+ years experience in silicon/ systems/ product development (NPI and sustaining) driving both technical and operational management of data center products
**Other:**
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
**Preferred** **Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in engineering: Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or any related engineering degree AND 8+ years’ experience in program management of hardware development and manufacturing.
+ 6+ years’ experience working in manufacturing, operations, engineering, product and program management.
+ Manufacturing and engineering experience with servers supporting zero lag programs.
+ PMP, Six Sigma or Lean certifications
+ Ability to travel up to 25% each year.
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
