Senior Help Desk Technician

H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking a Senior Help Desk Technician to support the Naval Health Research Center in San Diego, California.

The Senior Help Desk Technician responsibilities will include:

​Assist in relocating computer equipment. Create and maintain appropriate documentation related to help desk and database tasks. Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems. Install, upgrade, and configure hard disk drives, CD/DVD drives, video adapters, data acquisition boards, printers, and related hardware equipment. Troubleshoot systems to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties. Install, test, and troubleshoot software releases and hardware upgrades. Provide technical training and guidance on the use of system utilities and application packages. Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Clearance: Minimum SECRET clearance Security: Security+ or higher DoD authorized certification Physical: Ability to lift computer equipment up to 25 pounds Education:  Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science is preferred Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience imaging, troubleshooting software/hardware, imaging, testing and installation of software/hardware and overall customer support
